Many things will be on the honor system but with security and tracking. One strike and you're out. We are looking for team players who are equally passionate about the revelution this will be for the dance community and the local commhnity and want to support us; not tear a good idea apart.

What is Dance NOW?Dance Now is 4: (listed from top to bottom based on what we are most passionate about) 1. Dance Now is a space for kids to have a safe, creative, and regular space to dance in social environments. To express their creativity, stay active, and make healthy social connections in a semi structured environment. 2. Dance Now by achieving the above goal is also: A. Growing the size of the dance community as well as lowering the age average. B. Supporting our current dance community by allowing parents a way to still make dance: classes, socials, halls, and bars on weekends to improve their dance skills and connections within the dance community. C. We hope to directly support our amazing local dance community that teach amazing beginner and upper level dance by bring them a larger pool of youth interested in dance and skilled in dance to support and grow our current dance community as well as continue to develop it so that it can continue to have more and more support and offerings for upper level dance instruction and competitions locally. 3. Provide those 18+ with a place to dance, with partners, or socially absolutely anytime they want to cut out any limitations and accessibility issues with dance in the community. 4. Provide freelance dance instructors a place to teach as well as dance groups an affordable place to practice to move dance forwards in our community.

Is this a private studio space? No; members and their guest (additional payment depending on membership may be required) are allowed to use the space 24/7. As well as during schedule Dance Now classes, events, and socials anyone from the public is welcome to pay to participate. For instructors teaching privates as well small dance troops the space is not private. For those "Pro" instructors teaching classes we can accomodate a semi private class environment. We have 2 different dance floors, plus a large entry way, as well as lounge which will have some flooring so it wont be hard to find space and privacy when needed. There may or may not be people in the studio when you wish to practice or instruct. We limit memberships and ask members when they plan to practice to keep the space from becoming over crowded. We are looking into a calendar/booking system to make this process more clear and transparent for ease of access.

Picking/Controlling/Playing MusicWe will eventually look into a queuing app were everyone can add songs to the que. For now we have default studio approved playlist which will have a balance of all types of music that all dance styles (or that majority of styles) are able to dance to. We ABSOLUTELY do not allow songs with: curse words, sexually explicit lyrics, or overly repetitive songs with little musicality. If the specific song or song version cannot be played on the radio it cannot be played in our studio. AS FOR SHARING: Our sound system has both blue tooth and auxiliary cord inputs. Blue tooth is encouraged if you're in the studio alone or with one group of people Wired connection is encouraged for when sharing the space Generally rules will apply in terms of best practices: 1. First come first serve: Those first should be able to get 30 minutes of their own music selection until sharing 2. The larger the group practicing will tend to get some priority (SOME: sharing is still caring. Because you're bigger doesn't mean you're better) 3. Those practicing choreographed group routines in large groups will get priority to music. We encourage sharing of music first and foremost, playing music that appeals to the largest audience second, and if you are solo or couple dancing we encourage you to bring wireless earbuds for your self or you and your partner to share. Most phones can do up to 2 pairs of headphones now which can accommodate up to 4 people with one ear bud each. 2 strikes you're out for the day: If you accidentally play explicit music we ask anyone who is bother by this kindly, respectfully, and quietly brings this to your attention. 2 bad words or moments per day bumps you off being able to play your music on the public PA system for that day. Continued complaints can result in a termination of memberships.

What is a membership to an open dance studio? There are many dance studios in the area that we love and support for their classes and other offering such as Litefeet in Liberty Lake, Follow My Lead in both CDA and Post Falls and we encourage adults to go there to learn to dance. But when it comes to practice not everyone has the space or the right flooring to practice at. Additionally when it comes to dance sometimes the more the merrier for dance practice socials as well as lead follow gender dynamics that may make it uncomfortable or unwise to practice in a home environment, so here we are! Your 24 hours a day 7 days a week dance practice studio (excluding at maximum 5PM-11:30PM Fridays and Saturdays. And at minimum 7-10PM Fridays and Saturdays). Additionally not only can this be a dance practice space but a late night dance and hangout out spot when local dance halls, bars, and socials in the area shut down and everyone wants to keep dancing.

Do I Need To Stay While My Kid(s) dance? We are in no way a daycare or childcare, however, children of independent age that are well behaved are welcome to participate in our dance classes and socials without parents. We generally say, "If you would leave your kid alone at a trampoline park, bowling alley, roller rink, or the like then you're welcome to drop your kids off and go run errands, have you time, or take adult country swing classes from one of our favorite dance companies in town Litefeet just 1 mile west at Nashville north." If you do leave you may be required at anytime to come back to pickup your child via text or phone call and it is your responsibly to be accessible and available any time your child is at Dance Now.

Late Pickup PolicyIf you're late you will either be required to pay the entire class/social/event fee for the following session if applicable OR $1/minute that you are late. We will be frank here. We cannot force you to pay. But what we can do is black list your kid(s) from coming back which would make you and them sad or we can call CPS and report an abandoned child. These policies are ABSOLUTELY not about money! They are about respect: 1. Respect for your Childs emotional wellbeing and security 2. Respect to our staff It is extremely hard to find staff to work late at night in generally, even harder to find dancers willing to work late, and nearly impossible to find people great with children willing to work this late. So we pay this fee straight to our staff as a sorry and thank you to them. MAX wait time is 1 hour before CPS is called MAX wait time WITHOUT the parenting contacting us to let us know they are running late is 30 minutes. At 30 minutes we call CPS if we haven't hear from the parent. Buffer time?: There is a 5 minute buffer time. But at minute 6 you are charged $6 for example.
